Biography
Ms. Veronica Chemutai Metto
Veronica Metto is a trained Agribusiness Management specialist with experience in teaching research and is currently a Doctoral candidate in Agribusiness Management at Egerton University. She has an MSc in Agricultural and Applied Economics specializing in Agribusiness Management from Egerton University in Collaboration with the University of Pretoria, South Africa. She also has a BSc. Degree in Agribusiness and is trained in accounting (CPA section IV).
Currently, her interests are in gender analysis, uplifting livelihoods of smallholder farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector through training and capacity building, especially in value chain development, Value chain finance, and Agri-entrepreneurship. Her training interests and previous experience have focused on Value Chain Analysis, Risk Management, Agri-Entrepreneurship, Developing Innovation Platforms, Project Planning Monitoring and Evaluation, and Impact Evaluation. She enjoys and values teamwork to have holistic solutions to current challenges.
